Situated on the west coast and in the southern sector of over 100 mile long island of Eleuthera, Sound Point is a low lying peninsula stretching south into Rock Sound. Due east, across the bay from the subject property lies the settlement of Rock Sound and just north is Rock Sound International Airport.
The Northern property boundary extends roughly due west from the airstrip at Rock Sound International enclosing the peninsula to the south.
The site consists of approximately 2000 acres of coastal dune, beach with several elevated hammocks, high coastal fringe areas and low lying swamps. At its widest point it is over a mile across, tapering to the southern tip at South Point.
The property extends into a water body also known as the Rock Sound Harbour. There is approximately eight miles of coastline on the property with 75% of that as sandy beach with an average width of 50 feet. The rest, and interspersed between stretches of sand, is rocky shoreline.
